Anthony Rants

There was not a period of more than a few hours this weekend that did not seemed to be filled with rain. On Friday night we went and saw Corpse Bride and I think we both liked it. During the beginning of the movie, some technical difficulties made a green line appear on the side of the screen and that was somewhat annoying, but eventually it was fixed (Our theatre isn't so good here). On Saturday night, I made my (famous?) chicken enchiladas and for dessert I tried something I hadn't ever tried before: soapapillas. They were recieved very well by Anna :-) After dinner we watched Batman Begins which we both thought was easily the summer's best movie.

For some reason, I guess as a side effect of all the rain, our neighborhood has been invaded by mushrooms. It appears to be of the Chlorophyllum molybdite variety which is apparently very common in the midwest. (You can read more about them here). Suffice to say, they aren't fatally poisonous but do cause explosive gastrointestinal complications... Anyways, I took some pictures of some around here and posted a couple of shots here.
