UIUC had their homecoming this last weekend. Unfortunately for them, the football game was against Penn St., who is pretty good this year. Needless to say, they did not win. Anna and I went to a tailgate party at the lawschool. It was pretty unique. I'm not sure which part was more interesting, the bartender serving Merlot & Zin at a 'tailgate', the carmel apples for dessert, or the small jazz band playing music in the background.
There wasn't much available light inside the tent, so most of the time I was shooting at 800 to get a decent shutter speed... that means a good amount of noise to take care of in the digital darkroom :-| Here are four pictures that jumped out at me, 3 of Anna's friends, one of the marching band.
