I put up all the pictures we took of my nephew Nathan while we were in Colorado. You can see them all at Nathan's Pictures . Some pretty nice ones, I might post process a few and share them.
My W2 for taxes FINALLY came. It turns out it had been mistakeningly sent to our old address, and of course must have had 'Please do not forward' on it. I filed our first tax return as a married couple, and we are getting a pretty decent refund back. We're channeling it all back into credit debt though.
In an attempt to get rid of some of the extra stuff lying around, I put my old 17" LCD on Ebay. I actually ended up doing really well!
Not much else is going on. I spent most of the last days at work putting the finishing touches on a communication layer that parses output from Cisco Catalyst switches running CatalystOS. Now I have to begin on a layer for Cisco switches running IOS. I also started exploring nHibernate. Its really, really neat/useful. Say you have some sort of an object that you want to store in a database. You make an XML file that describes how this object's properties map into columns of a table on the database server and it handles the rest! Whenever you change a property of the object, nHibernate is ready to commit the changes back into the database. The amount of coding it saves you on a big project is mind boggling!
